The sculptures of Martin Willing are special creations. Formed out of various sorts of metal it only takes a little impulse and they begin swinging almost endlessly. On the edge between stability and motion they develop their own dynamic which fascinates the observer.
While his creations cause a sense of timelessness through their meditative motions it is hard to guess how much mathematical expertise, craftsmanship and precision Martin Willing has brought into his artwork.
